At Thomas, Head and Greisen, PC, professional development is key to promoting employee satisfaction and building meaningful careers. In many cases, it is also a requirement of the industries in which we operate. We provide a range of learning opportunities inside and outside of the firm.
In-house seminars are given by manager and senior-level staff, and can satisfy many of the CPE requirements for the business. Outside industry seminars and conferences are utilized as well. TH&G also offers a tuition reimbursement benefit.
Continuing professional education (CPE) is a reality in the accounting profession. Thomas, Head and Greisen, PC, makes the commitment to help staff members meet this obligation. Staff members are expected, in turn, to devote time in addition to normal business hours, to remain current in technical areas. The firm covers approved costs associated with CPE.
We will support and assist new employees through the phases of their professional development to enrich their careers at TH&G. This includes covering the cost of certain CPA study and test materials and, in some cases, providing financial incentives for the successful completion of certain educational benchmarks.
TH&G will make reasonable effort to fulfill the requirements necessary for certification after passing the CPA exam. Qualified staff will be assigned to appropriate engagements, taking into consideration scheduling, length of time with the firm, and experience.
Mentoring new staff is a vital process for developing talent. Mentors are assigned after 90 days of employment so staff have the opportunity to get to know possible mentors before making their selection.
We want you to succeed and we provide the support structure for you to succeed.
